The framing of any house begins with the floor, then goes to the walls, and then to the roof. The weight of the roof will transfer itself to the walls after which it will transfer it to the foundation where it will dissipate into the soil. The floor is basically a series of joists spanning across from one side of the foundation to the other, where there will be 3/4" plywood or OSB, and it should be tongue & grooved, glued, and screwed down so you can get the highest performance.
